Dr. Ranga Reddy is the Chairman of Indian Cancer Foundation.
Dr. Reddy is an Attending Anesthesiologist and Chairman, Department of Anesthesiology at Memorial Medical Center and a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, Springfield, Illinois.
Dr. Reddy has served as President of the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPI) (www.aapiusa.org)
Doctor Reddy is an active member and officer in many civic and professional organizations including Member of the Board of Trustees of the American Society of Indian Anesthesiologists (ASIA) 1991-95; and active Member, Asian Indian Political Action Committee of Central Illinois where he supports Congressional and Senate leaders.
As a professional, Doctor Reddy's contributions to India have been rich and varied. He sponsored the project "Adopt the Primary Health Care Center of Your Native Place" in India.He established the AAPI Charitable Clinic in Andhra Pradesh and is closely associated with several other charitable organizations such as "Adopt a Student" program, "SHARE", and "PANCHAMITRA" Ambulance Service, Bone Marrow Registry and ATA Med.Services. |
